This Dutch colonial building was once the home of an American artist, Douglas Johnson, and was renovated with the help of the celebrated former Sri Lankan architect, Geoffrey Bawa. Dark colonial furniture is lightened by modern decor, unusual ornaments and Johnson’s pictures.
