/Sigiriya / Dambulla After breakfast, leave for Dambulla, en-route, visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. (PM) Visit Sigiriya (500 A.D.) A massive monolith of red stone rising 600 ft. above jungle and formerly crowned by a royal citadel and now considered as the 8th wonder of the world! Overnight : Hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla |

/Polonnaruwa/ Minneriya/ Sigiriya After breakfast, do an excursion to Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital city (1200 A.D.). Visit places of interest including the museum PM Do a jeep safari to Minneriya National Park Overnight : Hotel in Dambulla or Sigiriya |
| Day 4 | Dambulla
/ Kandy After breakfast, visit the spectacular Dambulla caves and the temple (1st Cen. B.C.), after which leave for Kandy. PM - Visit the city of Kandy, which is beautifully located on the shores of a lake and a cultural sanctuary where ancient ways of life still survive. It is also the home of the "Buddha Tooth" rescued from the flames of his cremation and Sri Lanka's most cherished relic.
