Pick up from Colombo & leave for Kandy visiting an Elephant Orphanage en route.

PINNAWELA ELEPHANT ORPHNAGE - At this orphanage you will find elephants of all ages, which were abandoned or orphaned. They are being looked after with loving care until such time they are ready to work or be freed back to the jungles. The unique feature of this place is that one could feed the baby elephants with bottles of milk during the feeding times. You can also watch Elephants bathed daily in a river located across the orphanage. Pinnawela is a paradise for the Elephant photographers.Best visiting during feeding/bathing times at 915, 1315,1700hrs

Proceed to Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kings until 1815AD.Arrive in Kandy & have lunch at Mahaweli Reach Hotel or similar.

After lunch, do sightseeing in Kandy. Few of the interesting places to be visited are Arts & Crafts Association of Kandy, Kandy lake drive, Royal Botanical Gardens and the Market Place the bazaar center of the city & the Temple of The Tooth Relic.

Proceed back to Colombo & drop off at your hotel
