Kitulagala and Avissawella is one of Sri Lanka’s best locations for White Water Kayaking. The Kelani river hosts rapids between grades 2 and 3 and Sitawaka river hosts rapids between grades 3 and 4 with the stretch being approximately 6.5 kilometers and taking between 1to2 hours to complete.
Set in the jungle, is a beautiful canyon with an amazingly clear stream and plenty of sunlight. Starting at a rock pool, where younger children stay back for swim, we journey down through the river, jumping, sliding and swimming alone the way.
